Labor And Employment
Attorneys with the Firm have developed a unique expertise in representing municipal and governmental agencies and authorities, as well as private employers and individual employees, in labor and employment matters.
The Litigation Practice Group handles cases involving defense of employment disputes including discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment and civil rights claims, in both the state and federal courts, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC), the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) and the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations.

Mr. Wieliczko has acted as labor counsel for Bi-State/Compact Clause entities as well as numerous municipalities, municipal entities, private employers and individual employees. The Firm has also represented several municipalities in prosecuting police disciplinary matters both internally and at the Office of Administrative Law. As well, since 2002 the Firm has been designated as Special Labor Counsel for a local county.
The Firm of Zeller & Wieliczko, LLP, with Matthew B. Wieliczko, Esquire, as the lead attorney, has also led collective bargaining negotiations with the Law Enforcement Supervisors Association (LESA), the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Intercounties Local #30 and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSME).
